Currently, the demo version stores your tree data locally in the browser's local storage.
The good part about this is that it is never sent to a server so your data is completely private.
The drawback is that if you create a tree in Firefox, it won't be available in Chrome. However, you can export it to a .gat document that can be shared like a word doc.
